Greg Kuenzel holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Mr Kuenzel has over 20 years’ experience in providing accounting and corporate advice in a diverse range of industry sectors including mining and resource development, venture capital and property. He started his career in the audit and corporate services division of Howarth Chartered Accountants in Perth, Australia where he specialised in the resource and venture capital sectors. For the past nine years he has worked with mostly AIM listed resource companies, operating in multiple jurisdictions, providing corporate and financial consulting services.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr Struthers is a Chartered Engineer with over 37 years of international mining experience. Over the course of his career, Mr Struthers has held senior management positions with leading global mining companies and consultancies. He has a proven track record both at an operating and advisory level as a project manager, covering all stages of a mine’s life from feasibility and engineering studies including technical reviews, project and financial evaluations to strategic planning, construction, mine expansion, risk assessments and due diligence. He has extensive experience in base‐metals and gold in Africa, Australia, North America, South America, Europe and Russia / CIS.
Dr. Neil O’Brien is the Senior Vice President, Exploration & New Business Development of Toronto/Stockholm-listed base metal miner Lundin Mining Corporation and is the longest serving officer of this company. He holds a PhD in Economic Geology from Queen’s University in Canada and has over 30 years of industry experience, including 15 years in technical roles with Teck Cominco and now 11 years as a mining executive with Lundin Mining. Dr. O’Brien also has several years of experience as a director on the board of junior exploration companies and extensive international experience in all stages of mineral exploration and development of base metal projects. He is a Canadian and British citizen, residing in Canada.
Mr. Damouni has over 16 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets, with expertise in mining and oil and gas. Throughout his career, Mr. Damouni has worked on and led equity and debt financings valued over $5 billion. He has comprehensive experience in equity financing, restructuring, corporate valuations and advisory assignments. Mr. Damouni is a Director of Kerr Mines Inc, a TSX listed gold development & mining company. Mr. Damouni is a graduate of McGill University, Canada. He is a Canadian and British citizen, residing in the United Kingdom.
Laurie Mutch is an international management consultant with over 40 years’ experience in the resources and energy sectors. He was formerly with the Royal Dutch/Shell Group and on the Board of Shell International Gas & Power, as Executive Director for Business Development. Laurie was previously Finance and Planning Director of Shell International Gas and Shell Coal International, and was principal adviser on the coal industry to the International Energy Agency in Paris. Prior to his retirement from Shell he was Group Chief Information Officer and on the Microsoft and Dell Enterprise Advisory Boards. He is currently a Non-Executive director of Quadrise Fuels International and Chairs the audit committee.
Martyn Churchouse, Senior Advisor – Business Development
Mr. Churchouse is a geologist with 33 years’ experience in Europe and Africa in exploration, mine development, feasibility and as a mine manager. He worked for Anglo American and Gold Fields before joining the junior mining sector and has been involved in bringing a number of exploration companies to the AIM market. Prior to joining Noricum in 2015, Mr. Churchouse was a senior adviser to Lundin Mining Corporation’s New Business Development Division.
James (Jim) Royall:Chief Geologist
Based in Bolnisi, Jim is the company’s Chief Geologist and Qualified Person. He brings a strong exploration background to the Company with over 20 years’ professional experience in Europe, Africa and South America. Having worked on projects for a number of international private and publicly listed mining and resource development companies Jim has collaborated on the discovery and development of a number of deposits that are now operating mines or at near term production stage. Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from Oxford Brookes University in England, and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
