Tony Frizelle has previously held senior positions at Anglo American Corporation, Phillip Brothers Inc/Salomon Inc – a commodity merchant company focused on physical trading, asset acquisition and development where he was Managing Director, and at Brascan Group and Rand Mines. Tony was the Founder and is Managing Director of Resource Management & Finance Co Ltd (“RMF”), a boutique resource advisory and management group providing strategic support for junior companies in the acquisition of quality resource projects in emerging markets. Companies supported or co-founded by RMF include Mutual Resources, Golden Knight, Pan African Resources, NiCo, Nautical Petroleum, Jubilee Platinum and Coal Resources Corp. Tony served as Chairman or Managing Director of several of these companies.
Greg Kuenzel holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Mr Kuenzel has over 20 years’ experience in providing accounting and corporate advice in a diverse range of industry sectors including mining and resource development, venture capital and property. He started his career in the audit and corporate services division of Howarth Chartered Accountants in Perth, Australia where he specialised in the resource and venture capital sectors. For the past nine years he has worked with mostly AIM listed resource companies, operating in multiple jurisdictions, providing corporate and financial consulting services.
Mr. Churchouse is a geologist with 33 years’ experience in Europe and Africa in exploration, mine development, feasibility and as a mine manager. He worked for Anglo American and Gold Fields before joining the junior mining sector and has been involved in bringing a number of exploration companies to the AIM market. Prior to joining Noricum in 2015, Mr. Churchouse was a senior adviser to Lundin Mining Corporation’s New Business Development Division.
Dr. Neil O’Brien is the Senior Vice President, Exploration & New Business Development of Toronto/Stockholm-listed base metal miner Lundin Mining Corporation and is the longest serving officer of this company. He holds a PhD in Economic Geology from Queen’s University in Canada and has over 30 years of industry experience, including 15 years in technical roles with Teck Cominco and now 11 years as a mining executive with Lundin Mining. Dr. O’Brien also has several years of experience as a director on the board of junior exploration companies and extensive international experience in all stages of mineral exploration and development of base metal projects. He is a Canadian and British citizen, residing in Canada.
Mr. Damouni has over 16 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets, with expertise in mining and oil and gas. Throughout his career, Mr. Damouni has worked on and led equity and debt financings valued over $5 billion. He has comprehensive experience in equity financing, restructuring, corporate valuations and advisory assignments. Mr. Damouni is a Director of Kerr Mines Inc, a TSX listed gold development & mining company. Mr. Damouni is a graduate of McGill University, Canada. He is a Canadian and British citizen, residing in the United Kingdom.
Laurie Mutch is an international management consultant with over 40 years’ experience in the resources and energy sectors. He was formerly with the Royal Dutch/Shell Group and on the Board of Shell International Gas & Power, as Executive Director for Business Development. Laurie was previously Finance and Planning Director of Shell International Gas and Shell Coal International, and was principal adviser on the coal industry to the International Energy Agency in Paris. Prior to his retirement from Shell he was Group Chief Information Officer and on the Microsoft and Dell Enterprise Advisory Boards. He is currently a Non-Executive director of Quadrise Fuels International and Chairs the audit committee.
Mark Owen, BSc, MSc, CGeol, EurGeol, FGS:Senior Advisor
Mr Owen has over 35 years’ professional experience in mining industry and considered an expert in both underground and open pit mining. Working with a major consultancy for over 15 years, Mark developed an extensive portfolio of exploration and mining-related contracts, from project management through to technical audits of a diverse number of mineral deposits, in Europe, Asia and South America. He managed technical service teams dealing with resource estimation, exploration planning and grade control management and has completed major development projects from scoping to bankable feasibility study and development. Mark is conversant with the London and North American stock exchange rules and importantly the conversion of Soviet mineral resources (GKZ) to Internationally recognized codes.
James (Jim) Royall:Chief Geologist
Based in Bolnisi, Jim is the company’s Chief Geologist and Qualified Person. He brings a strong exploration background to the Company with over 20 years’ professional experience in Europe, Africa and South America. Having worked on projects for a number of international private and publicly listed mining and resource development companies Jim has collaborated on the discovery and development of a number of deposits that are now operating mines or at near term production stage. Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from Oxford Brookes University in England, and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
